Hugin and Munin are the twin ravens, servants of Odin.

They are sent out each morning and report back to Odin each evening on the reports of the happenings of the world.

Ulf's Memorial Gallery:


Ulf chose the Triple Horn of Odin, a stylized emblem of the Norse God Odin, for his shield. On August 11th, 2006, Dirk Smith (Ulf) passed to the next world. We lost a good friend and a serious warrior. Ulf had done Viking reenacting in the SCA around the Lamar, CO area before moving to Denver. His group was called Hawk's Burn with "Mayhem" as the Viking household.

Dirk had been attending Westwood College, taking information security systems.

Sleipnir, the legendary eight-legged horse of Odin, the Father-God of the Norse. Sleipnir carries Warriors to the world of the Gods

Ulf was accomplished at freestyle steel combat, woodworking, including carving and scrollwork and was learning blacksmithing.
