Battle Gear of Agnar Oddson:

This is Agnar's combat seax. The blade was made by Armor Class provided to Vikings Vinland by special order and was hafted by Lodin for Agnar's personal use. Agnar has since made a belt and scabbard with copper alloy fittings and trim, all of his make. To the right is Agnar's spangen helmet.

To the right is Agnar's combat shield. The runes say: "North Wolf" and a Thor's hammer shows Agnar's allegiance to the Giant's Killer as well as seeks Thor's protection. The shield is made for our combat system and is not an authentic "display" shield but rather made with safety and longevity in mind first. As such, it is of plywood construction with canvas overlay and rimmed with vegetable tanned leather. Hand forged nails, provided by Lodin, were used to mount the boss in the center. Agnar constructed the shield in it's entirety.
