Here is Jo'runn's work knife which Lodin had made for her. The tanged blade had an apple wood handle and the tang in curled on the end for a lanyard if she is working over the water. This prevents the knife from being lost overboard.The sheath has been inscribed with designs using a pointed horn tool while the leather was wet, then the sheath was treated with bee's wax.
