Fort Lupton Heritage Fair 2014
Fjellborg Vikings attended
the Heritage Fair in Historic Fort Lupton, which brings reenactors of
many historic periods together. The weather turned out to be lovely and
it was great to catch up with everyone. We made wildflower crowns and
made friends with the Revolutionary War re-enactors next to us. We also
watched a coyote being skinned (fur-trapper reenactors picked up some
roadkill on the way to the show). The fearsome warriors Roland, Brice
and Sigrdrífa showed up later, which was great!!! And in the evening we
had a mini-blot with Sigrdrifa, listened to her play "Greensleeves" and
then roasted marshmallows
