Fjellborg Vikings

First Annual Viking Experience At Rock Ridge Ranch- April 18th, 2010

Fjellborg had our very first, "us and all about us" event at the Rock Ledge Ranch in Colorado Springs, Colorado, within the majestic Garden of the God's Park. Originally intended to be just a feast, we soon found that Snorri, Jarl of the Vikings Vinland was to attend to oversee training and assessments of our warriors. Then too, we were attended by Linda Rice, an Authenticity Officer of Vinland and owner of Norsefolk_2: a very active Viking age reenactor Yahoo-group. Helga Luthers, professor at CU Boulder Nordic Studies and her Nordic History students attended and gave presentations, then also, our guest Rowen "The poetry lady" regaled us with stories and demonstrated card loom weaving for the public.
