Gimili Viking Village


Fjellborg Vikings members, Lodin, Brice and Afi Brice attended the Gimili Icelandic Festival, of Manitoba, Canada, the second oldest continuous ethnic festival in North America. The Viking Village is the largest gathering of Viking age reenactors on the North American continent and growing every year. Reenactors of all affiliations are welcome with the organizer's desire to uphold reenactor standards typical of other historical period presentations.
Within the event, members of Vikings Vinland also held their annual Althing, (Community/members meeting.) and group leaders meeting. There, GL's and members discussed the events past and layed out future plans for the North American Felag of Vikings-Vinland.
