Lodin Graskeggr of Myklebust, Nordfjord (The Northern fjord) , left for a life on the sea at an early age because of conflict with his older brother. Lodin vowed never to return and swore he'd have to kill his brother if he ever did. Years of going a viking, being apart from his home for so long eventually softened the anger Lodin held and he made peace with those at home.
His accumulated wealth eased the taste of reconciliation, for now he's looked to for his fortune by those who scorned him before.
Still, it is a sad honor among the community as Lodin has little family and only stories of his youth. No man is so great if he has no kin, so Lodin attempts gifting his way to friendships.
You may see remnants of wealth but his clothes are getting tattered.
